Download Tappa
Tappa is free on iOS and Android. Sign up with your email or Google account in under a minute — no credit card required.
Available on the App Store and Google Play. Your account is tied to your email so you can sign in on any device.
Build your profile
Add your name, photo, job title, company, email, phone, website, and social links. This becomes your public profile page.
Your profile is hosted at tap.tappa.me/yourname. You can update it anytime and every card or ring you've programmed will immediately show the new info — no reprogramming needed.
Get an NFC device
Order any NFC-enabled card, ring, keychain, or sticker. Tappa works with any writable NFC tag — you're not locked into a specific brand or product.
Common choices include PVC NFC business cards (available for a few dollars each), NFC rings for always-on sharing, and adhesive NFC stickers for laptops or notebooks.
Name and program your device
In the Tappa app, tap 'Add Device', give it a name (like 'Main Card' or 'Ring'), and select what you want to write. Hold your phone to the NFC tag.
Writing takes less than a second. The app confirms when the write is successful. You can program the same tag as many times as you like.
Tap to share
Hold your programmed card or ring near someone's phone. Your profile opens instantly in their browser — no app required on their end.
On Android, the link opens automatically. On iPhone, a notification appears at the top of the screen — one tap to view the profile. Works with virtually every smartphone made in the last 5 years.
Track your impact
The analytics dashboard shows you how many times your profile has been viewed and how many taps your devices have received.
Pro users get a detailed history of activity over time. Free users see total tap and view counts.
